I have been employed in the kitchen here at Summer Hill for two-and-a-half years. In March of 2008, I became the Dietary Manager. I love cooking for the residents and serving them the meals they enjoy, as well as getting to know them personally.

I have lived on Whidbey Island for the last 14 years and love it here! Before I began my employment at Summer Hill, I was a stay-at-home mom. I have four children, Kyle, who is 22 and a college student in his third year on a baseball scholarship; Aaron, who is 19 and making me a grandma soon; Katie, who is 17 and in her senior year of high school; and Dyllon, who is almost 11 and soon to be a fifth grader.

I will be getting married this year to the love of my life, Shawn. We have a full house and it’s filled with love.

I plan to have many happy years here at Summer Hill. I strive to make a difference in the lives of our residents each and every day, and work hard to make their home at Summer Hill a special experience.
