I am a part-time RN here at Summer Hill Assisted Living. A proud graduate of the University of Michigan, I joined the Summer Hill staff in March 2006. My nursing background includes Adult, Pediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care as well as over 14 years in Nursing Administration at the University of Washington Medical Center, Seattle, Washington.

After getting married, I moved to Oak Harbor and began working with my husband in his private Obstetrical and Gynecology practice. After his retirement, I pursued my own interest in geriatric care. I have worked with seniors since 2002 and bring to my work the unique position of being a daughter who has assisted both of her parents with transitioning to living in an Assisted Living Facility. I strive to provide care to each of the residents as if they were my own parents.
