I started working at Summer Hill in April 2011. What I like about at working at Summer Hill is the great staff. Everyone works so well together, it’s like a big family here. The residents are pretty awesome as well.

I was raised in Sacramento, California and after high school I joined the US Navy in July of 1979. I spent the next 27-and-a-half years in the Navy as an aircraft mechanic, as well as several other positions over the years. I retired in February of 2007 as a Senior Chief Petty Officer.

After the Navy and owning a handyman business, I retired and decided I liked working in the senior living industry and worked at a couple different communities as the maintenance director.

My wife, Andrea and I have 3 children, twin boys and a little girl. All together I have 6 children, two girls and 4 boys and one grandson.
