The unique licensing of Summer Hill allows us to promote our 'Aging in Place' philosophy. We are one of the few assisted living communities on Whidbey Island which offers our residents the flexibility to meet their individual needs and deliver services to their apartment homes. 'Aging in Place' allows freedom for changing circumstances, such as those listed below.

• If your health condition should change, additional services can be delivered directly to your apartment home as needed.
• As couples age at different paces, we are able to allow you to live together in the comfort of your apartment home, and personalized services are delivered when needed.
• Because we offer several levels of care, graduating to a different level is a smooth, comfortable transition. Our knowledgeable and caring staff will take care of all the details and help to make it an easier process, both for residents and their family.
